Yes. MTD Painting & Construction is a Florida Certified General Contractor, license CGC #1534015, and is fully licensed and insured. A certified general contractor license is issued by the state, so it covers painting, restoration and construction work across Florida. You can confirm any license on the Florida DBPR website.
MTD has offices in Coral Springs and Estero and works across South Florida, including Broward, Palm Beach and Indian River counties. That includes communities in Coral Springs, Jupiter, West Palm Beach and Vero Beach, and our project list reaches other parts of the state, from Naples to Pasco County.
Most HOA and condo buildings in Florida need exterior repainting about every 5 to 8 years. Coastal buildings and walls with heavy sun, salt air or moisture exposure often need it sooner. Fading, chalking, peeling, cracking, mildew and failing caulk are signs the paint system is no longer protecting the building.
Concrete spalling is when the surface of concrete cracks, flakes or breaks away, usually because moisture reaches the steel rebar inside and it rusts and expands. In Florida it shows up on balconies, walkways, slab edges, columns and parking garages. Rust stains, new cracks and hollow-sounding spots are early warning signs. Repairing spalling early keeps a small fix from turning into a larger structural repair.
Yes. Community associations and property managers are a core part of our work. Recent projects include a repaint of 179 homes at Mallory Creek at Abacoa and interior and exterior painting across more than 500 units at Great Wolf Naples. We plan the schedule with the board or manager and coordinate resident notices so the community knows what to expect.
Electrostatic painting gives the paint an electrical charge so it is drawn to a grounded metal surface and wraps evenly around it. It is used to refinish metal railings, doors, gates and fixtures in place, which can be a cost-effective alternative to replacing them.
