About us
From humble beginnings to a trusted name in Florida contracting, MTD Painting & Construction has grown into a full-service partner for HOA communities, developers, and property managers seeking reliability, precision, and care on every project.
Our name
When MTD Painting & Construction was founded in 2005, it wasn’t just a business idea. It was a family promise. The name MTD comes from our founder’s children, Maria, Tomas, and Daniel, a constant reminder that every project we take on carries the same care, trust, and responsibility as if it were for our own family.
That family-first mindset is what sets us apart. It means we don’t cut corners. We don’t hide behind contracts.
Our people
Behind every finished project is a team of professionals who bring skill, pride, and accountability to their work. From seasoned project managers to hands-on craftsmen, our people share the same mission: deliver excellence without compromise. We invest in training, safety, and tools because we believe our team deserves the best, and our clients deserve nothing less. That’s why project managers trust us: because they know we trust our team.
Meet our teamOur story
MTD’s foundation was built on a dream of turning skilled craftsmanship into generational impact. What began as a painter’s pursuit of a better future for his family became a company that today serves communities across the entire state of Florida. Through persistence, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to detail, MTD has transformed from subcontractor to licensed, full-service contractor. Along the way, we’ve kept the same promise: to treat every client like family and every property like our own.
2005Luis Carlos Bello founded MTD Painting with a vision: deliver craftsmanship rooted in kindness, passion, and family values.
2008From small repainting jobs to community contracts, MTD quickly became known across South Florida for reliability and care.
2013MTD grew beyond painting into restoration, waterproofing and construction, giving boards and managers one accountable partner for the whole job.
2017With new offices and expanded crews, MTD began managing large-scale projects, from high-rise restorations to multi-family developments.
2025 +As projects grow in size and scope, our promise remains: innovate, expand partnerships, and keep making life colorful for Florida communities.

Building confidence across Florida
To us, construction isn’t just about walls and coatings. It’s about what those walls protect: families, businesses, and communities. That’s why we approach every project as both a technical and a human responsibility. A well-restored high-rise gives residents peace of mind. A repainted community inspires pride. A new development creates spaces for families to grow.
